I'm really glad you're here, and I'm excited to help you get the most out of your Fantasy Life playthrough. You probably have a few questions, so let me go ahead and answer some of the ones I get asked most often.

You know there's a wiki, right?
Yup! I used it a lot back when I was playing Fantasy Life on the 3DS. But honestly, I found the information pretty scattered. It often felt like a chore to click through multiple pages just to find the one recipe I needed.
When I hit endgame content, things got even more complicated —especially if I needed to craft items that were made up of other crafted items. I’d have to open several tabs and keep flipping between them which resulted in information getting jumbled up and lead to mistakes while crafting. Eventually, I just started writing everything down myself. By the time I finished FL 3DS, I had a notebook filled with crafting recipes, the materials they required, and notes about any prerequisites. It was easier than relying on the wiki, especially when crafting multiples of an item.
Why not just use the in-game crafting menu?
Because, as someone with ADHD, I’d forget what materials I needed about five seconds after closing the menu. A big chunk of my time ended up being spent toggling back and forth between the game and the menu. Having the info in one place —without needing to switch screens —made things way easier and helped me stay focused.
How is your website different from the wiki?
Everything you need is in one place! Head over to the Recipe Calculator, select the relevant details, and watch as it breaks down each recipe into the exact materials you’ll need to craft it — no flipping between pages required.
Want to make multiples? No problem — the calculator automatically does the math for you. No more ending up one iron ingot short because you *swore* 32 iron ore would be enough, not 34.

What else does your website offer besides crafting recipes?
Plenty! Here's a quick overview of what you'll find:
- Detailed breakdowns for each Life, including gear, abilities, rank requirements, and bounties
- An interactive map to help easily find collectibles, resources, quest objectives, and more
- A tracking system for Strangelings and the Encyclopedia
- Information on both Main and Side Quests, along with their rewards
And the part I'm most excited about: I’m currently working on an interactive layout tool that will let you design your island and home before committing to in-game changes —no more spending hours placing furniture or altering the landscape just to realize you don’t like the final result. (Looking at you, every free-styling game ever.)
I’m also planning to add a fully searchable database that covers just about everything in the game —monsters, NPCs, shops, items, and more —so you can easily look up whatever you need, all in one place.
How often will you be updating the website?
As often as I can! This site is a passion project, born from my love of playing Fantasy Life on the 3DS. It originally started as an extremely basic tool for just myself and a few close friends to use once FLi had gone live, but I decided to revamp it and share it with the community.
That said, I’m currently a full-time student, working a full-time job, and taking on any internship opportunities I can to grow my skills —so there may be times when updates are a bit spaced out due to my schedule.
But that’s where you come in! If you notice a missing or incorrect recipe, spot something that should be added to the map, or just want to contribute in general, feel free to join the Discord and let me know! I’m always open to community contributions, and the Discord is also where I’ll post updates and development news.
