Future Plans

Originally, FLi-Guide was meant to be a simple tool that housed helpful information about the different Lifes and included a basic recipe calculator. In fact, it wasn’t even going to be a real website! I had planned to run it quietly in the background on my home computer while I played the game. But once I started working on it, I quickly realized I wanted it to become something more. That’s when I shifted focus to building a full-fledged website that could be accessed by anyone —not just a personal utility. You can still find the original version, which I had modified to fulfill the requirements for a final project in one of my web development classes, on my GitHub.

Over time, as I continued developing the project —and as LEVEL-5 revealed more sneak peeks of the game —I found myself wanting to include even more information. I even dusted off my old 3DS and replayed the original Fantasy Life to reacquaint myself with the little quirks that once frustrated me. What started small eventually grew to include an interactive map, a quest tracker, an improved recipe calculator, and eventually the biggest planned feature: tools to help design your home and island.

Now that Fantasy Life i is live, my goal is to turn FLi-Guide into a true one-stop shop for all things related to the game. Whether you're crafting, tackling quests, or just looking for helpful tips, I want the site to make your playthrough smoother and more enjoyable. I also aim to keep the interface intuitive and user-friendly so that you can easily find what you need without getting overwhelmed.

And it's not just me anymore! I've been lucky enough to have a few volunteers reach out after discovering FLi-Guide, offering their help and ideas. They’ve already contributed some incredible suggestions, and I’m genuinely excited to see what else we can build together. FLi-Guide has always been a passion project, but now it’s becoming a community effort —and I couldn’t be happier about that.
